The Connect & Reflect Project

This project brings together Participatory Research from colleagues across the University of Sheffield. On this site are a series of case studies which showcase innovative methods of participatory research with children and young people. We highlight successes, challenges and lessons learned.

The case studies are in a variety of different formats to enhance accessibility for a range of audiences, including text blog posts, video interviews and podcasts.

We have prioritised research with young people from underrepresented groups whose knowledge is not always recognised or given the value it should be within these research fields.

We hope that this website will serve as an introduction to the amazing work ongoing in the university, maybe point you in the direction of some research you didn't know was there, and may even allow you to form connections with other researchers, or reflect on your own practice.
